We offer you our independent free standing home with modern European accents, located downtown Puerto Vallarta, close to the well known beach 'Playa Camarones' and the famous 'Malecon', Puerto Vallarta´s always busy city beach promenade.
Within minutes of walk you come to shops, the local fish and fruit market, restaurants, bars, beaches, parks. You reach the local sports stadium in 10 minutes walk and the famous boardwalk, called Malecon, as well.

Enjoy the private solar heated pool, the private outdoor Jacuzzi for 6 persons, the large sun decks, partly covered, a tranquil common lounge area in front of the pool and many more amenities our property has to offer for you, shared with nobody else!
Our exquisite home has it all on 3,600 square feet of living space: Panoramic views, a gourmet kitchen, A/C throughout, a remote controlled indoor garage.
Offered to you are unlimited free phone calls inside Mexico and to the USA, Canada, Middle-South America and Europe!
WiFi all over the property with up to 70 MB/s.

Living room: 55" 4K Smart TV, cable TV with some channels in English (f.e. CNN, FoxNews), NETFLIX, sound system with BlueTooth.
All bedrooms: 32" flat TV with some English channels and NETFLIX

For more than 6 guests optional we can install a queen size airbed at one of the bedrooms and/or we can install 2 twin size beds at a common area.
We have a cot for small kids and a kids high chair.

Please note the house is up a small hill which does provide a beautiful view but also means that the street is steep for one small block for walking. If you know Puerto Vallarta at all, this is pretty common as the hills are one of the attractions. For those who drive, you have your own fully secure indoor garage for parking.
Also taxis, UBER, inDrive and bus fares are very cheap.

We enjoyed our time at Villa Europa. The location is great, with a large market just blocks away, and a fantastic restaurant across the road. The views from both upper and lower decks were wonderful and we enjoyed relaxing and watching the neighborhood activity. Also, most days we saw whales splashing in the bay mid afternoon. Claus is a wonderful host. He drove us to the house for our arrival and made sure we were comfortable. Any issues that arose during our stay were dealt with quickly. And, we appreciated the ride to the airport on our departure day.

We had a great time and fantastic Christmas at Villa Europa. Thank you, Claus, for meeting us and showing us around. We appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations throughout. Villa Europa location and view was amazing and for us the neighbourhood was perfect. The only negative was the hill, but that what made it unique and if you don't want to cook just across the street, there is an excellent restaurant called Tacoquila.Thanks, Claus, and looking forward to coming back again.

Wonderful property
We stayed at this property for 10 days in November 2023 and had a wonderful time. The property is large and beautiful and the location is fantastic. We walked to the beach, malecon and restaurants daily with ease. We felt safe and secure in the house and the neighbourhood. I highly recommend this property. Owners were wonderful to us.

Son’s 15 birthday trip
It was 6 of us total. 4 adults 1 teen and 1 child. It was a great time. The house is amazing, with a great location. We loved all the amenities and the privacy. It was really clean and had everything you needed. The host are very friendly and super responsive. I would stay there again.

We really loved the house!
We loved the house!!!! Our very introverted son loved the ‘basement’ room, and we greatly enjoyed the layout and feel of the house!!! It could easily house 3 couples needing some privacy. Our only problem is that IF the power goes out … both the air conditioning and the water pump do not work. Our host said power outages were to be expected and in the dry season the lack of breeze combined with a power outage on 2 evenings made the house very uncomfortable. The power company did replace the transistor the day we left, and the host did offer a partial refund. But the last evening was pretty uncomfortable. Do seriously consider using taxis during your stay!!!! We rented a car as the villa has a garage, but aside from one day where we visited a few beaches, we could have used taxis and probably paid less for the week, and parking is not as available as in the US. (We live in a city with minimal public transport, and so I didn’t consider just using taxis when it would have worked fine for my family.) La Traviata had amazingly good pizza, and the very small convenience store on the same block was a life saver when we needed some aloe for excessive sun!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Europa! The house was spotless when we arrived and Claus met us there, gave us the tour and then allowed us to settle in. The area is perfect, just far enough away from the action that it was quiet but still well within walking distance to the malecon, beach, restaurants and stores. We would definitely recommend this house and look forward to returning one day! Thanks Claus!

Very nice family sized rental
Everything was clean and well stocked and everything functioned well for the duration of the trip. The host was very reachable and responsive. Some small restaurants and cafes and wine bars are popping up within really easy walking distance that adds to the convenience. Such a great alternative to the resorts and the overcrowded conditions the areas immediately around the resorts have to endure. But if that is your thing it’s just a few minutes walk to beach and all the beachside attractions. The decks lacked significant sunshine but that’s a time of year thing I’m sure it’s there much of the year just not January. The location near the top of the hill is a challenge for the walk back from the beaches. But it’s literally a couple hundred meters and obviously helps with the great views over the city and down towards the water. I’d recommend this large multi-ensuite family house with no reservation at all.

Communication with Claus was easy and his responses swift. We rented his home last minute without problems. Upon arrival he met us at the property to explain how everything works. His home sits on a hill overlooking an old neighborhood. The beach, OXOX stores, and many restaurants are within walking distance. His home is lovely and inviting. The pictures shown do not do it justice. This is a tri level home. Bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Water and ice from the refrigerator are filtered, this is a big plus. You are able to call UBER with a quick response and the cost is very low, much preferred to use them than Taxis. The pool was refreshing as the weather was very hot and humid. In all this house was a perfect fit for us. looking forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was pretty central to everything and we were able to walk to the beach and some great restaurants. We loved that all the bedrooms had private bathrooms and king size beds. I highly recommend property.

Well equipped and very spacious Villa, walking distance to beach and restaurants. Claus, the owner, very helpful and accommodating, nice views from the two terraces and would definitely stay here again. Chef available if you require dishes prepared and cooked for you on site ! Villa Europa was great!
My wife and I, sister and another couple all loved the comfort of the house. Set up very well for us to socialize, relax and have private spaces. The three very separate bedrooms with own baths was nice. The three terraces were really nice. The neighborhood was fine and close to everything we wanted with nice walks and easy access further by Uber or cabs. The hill does add to the walk but felt great and allows for the views. We felt completely safe inside and out of the house. Loved the open, airy feel of the house. Only MINOR issue could the neighborhood sounds of dogs, roosters, people hollering very early in the morning but could close up the bedrooms and turn on air conditioning. Claus was great to work with- very helpful and not at all intrusive. We were all happy with this home and the value!

Looking forward to Our Next Stay
First, let me begin by saying we are looking forward to staying at Villa Europa again! The pictures on this site doesn't do it justice. Villa Europa is huge, very spacious (especially when there's just me and my wife in the house). There's 5 levels to this property and it can accommodate at least 3 couples, maybe 4 (if privacy is not a concern, for the 4th couple). It really needs an intercom to locate each other. The layout can be confusing at first , but we adjusted fairly quickly. Claus the owner is friendly, helpful and quick to response to emails and phone call. Just tell him what you need and he'll let you know. Don't stay in a pricey hotel when you can have the property all to your self. PROS: Big Villa! Walking distance (4-5 minute walk) to nearby restaurants about a 10-15 walk to the Malecon (boardwalk). Great daytime and nighttime views from the deck CONS: You can't see the sunset and there's that one block of steep hill (road) to the house that you gotta get used to. After getting stuffed and tipsy at the nearby restaurant(s) that can be a bit challenging. One adviso, if you bring little kids, they will need close supervision, as the 3 decks in house are up there and there a steep drop down. Lots more positive things to say, as we are missing the warm weather there in Mexico, compared to here in Alaska. Anyway, enjoy your stay:)

Our little castle on the mountain
This house…..for lack of a better word is AMAZING!!! There are several floors, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, full kitchen equipped with everything you need, several sitting rooms, 2 decks, a dining room, a pool and a hot tub. The house has an open concept so there are a lot of sliding doors to let in fresh air. It is in a perfect location downtown whether you walk or take a cab. Close to shopping centers and a short walk to the beach. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Claus. He was always available if I had questions and was there when we needed him. If you rent this house you won’t regret your decision. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Puerto Vallarta.

A perfect retreat
We had a glorious time from initial contact through our stay. We used the private pool often and there are several quiet areas to relax and read — or work as some of us had to. (I took over the kitchen table for the views!) you are ao close to everything. It was a joy as was our house Claus.
