“I grew up on Saltspring. My best friend, who had recently been widowed, expressed an interest in seeing the island so I arranged a visit. I had stayed at the Vesuvius Villas before and I knew we could each enjoy our own bedrooms and bathrooms for a reasonable price. This unit lived up to all my previous visits without exception. “The suite was very clean and well-stocked with pots/pans/plates/cutlery. Bed was creaky - roll over and it was noisy. Otherwise all was excellent, great wifi and tv on wifi, pretty perfect. Not cozy, though - minimal decor.”

Greg immediately answered any questions we may have had and contacted us several times to make sure things were going well. He also suggested several interesting local sites and Pubs. “The location map for the property was incredibly misleading. VRBO has the listing map in Nanaimo which was what was originally searched as we needed to be in town. However, when we arrived, the map on VRBO lead us to some reserve land (it was super sketchy). It wasn’t until I opened the email from the host that the address/location was provided. “The best thing about Dennis' place is the fabulous waterfront location. We enjoyed our coffee every morning watching the sea lions, gulls and even whales one day. The condo itself is very comfortable with great beds and a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our month at Inn of the Sea.”

“The bedroom is tiny not fitting the bed. No window to the bedroom. A second guy has to climb over the first guy in order to get to his side of the bed”

“Ryan's home is very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, comfortable beds and lots of space for everyone. It is close to the main street in Ladysmith and a short walk to Transfer Beach. Ryan is always quick to respond to any messages.”

“Though it was too early in the season for us to use the pool, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our kids explored the shore for shells and had a great time in the playground. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We loved waking up to the ocean view - seeing seals and other wildlife. Overall, it was a very pleasurable stay and we would definitely come again!”
