“Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended.”

“Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 ”

“The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting……

“This cottage has a really nice vibe very clean and ideally situated for visiting Thirsk and the local communities. The market square is a few short steps away The railway station is a pleasant 30 minutes walk away, but it does have a bus service if the weather is not too good The cottage is spread over 3 storeys and is modern kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and sitting/living room is 1st floor and bedroom top floor. We had a nice break and would consider visiting again. The cottage I……
