"What a great place and hosts. Our experience is that the pictures and descriptions online overpromise, in this case the opposite is true. Its even better! Bill and Lisa thank you for the wonderfull time, for us and the kids. Showing us the canadian way of life. Fishing, shooting enjoying nature. Kids where crying that we had to leave. "I loved the way the owners have a large selection of vhs' to take to your room. The room was clean. The lake is beautifully nestled in a small valley that is not overly polluted with noise from the highway near-by. I was sad that the owners were not able to open their restaurant this year due to staffing issues. But will definitely be back and am looking forward to that Italian meal."

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was fully stocked. Lots of ameneties at your disposal which was convienent and dog friendly;) Only a little challenge is the attached bathroom was on the exterior so you had to exit the cabin and go over to bathroom. Property was very clean."

"Inside the cabin was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the Property Manager was very prompt and helpful. Our group was travelling to and from a family reunion for four days which meant 20 kms of tough gravel road driving each way. It was tough on our car, would recommend a truck or SUV if doing a lot of driving from the cabin."

"Beautiful lake, cabin was semi-clean, needs a deep clean. Cabin has a strong, musty mothballs smell( not pleasant in my opinion). For the price that we paid per night, I felt that firewood should be included. We had some cold, rainy days and the inside electric fire sound like it was going to blow up so we had to turn the stove on to warm up the place. Barbeque that they provided was not in good repair and was full of cigarette butts."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Wolf Den. It was true to the listing, and well appointed. Our swim in the lake was memorable, though it was a bit of a hike down to the water. The hosts were very friendly, introducing us to their dog, Peaches, and rescue parrot, Woody, pulling out swimming floaties for us, and offering a lot of interesting information about the property. Thanks for the wonderful stay!"
