The Lincoln Center’s 30 indoor and outdoor spaces host opera, dance, music, film and theater, as well as festivals and family events. The opera is actually cheaper than a musical. If you're lucky, you'll only pay $25 for rush tickets. Don't worry about not understanding French or Italian, there's an translation board in front of you.

Take LIRR to Penn Station at Westbury station Then connect with local 7th Ave train uptown, get off at 66st station and you’re at Lincoln Center. Best way to City.
