"This hotel does everything it needs to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offered is simple but sufficient. Lots of places nearby to eat and shop. But a little far from the main city. But still doable. Room did have an interesting smell and the mini fridge worked but was water logged. Oh, the holding fee was decent. Definitely a plus. All in all, I would come here again. "
"The neighborhood is beautiful. It was quiet and very walkable. So many restaurants and shoppes within 7 mins walking. Nice home with plenty of space for a family. It is an older house that has been renovated. It has a nice covered deck and back yard. The fire pit was nice for s’mores. The game room area is downstairs in the basement/Garage and is only accessible from outside. Mike was easily reached for any concerns. Overall we had a great time. "

"My fiancé and I were in town for a family gathering and we felt right at home! We had an extreme warm welcome from Ms Nicole. She was very kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Hotel was kept clean and housekeeping responded promptly. We weren’t a huge fan of the Main Street being packed a lot of the time however, our stay was great!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and towels for the six of us. The pool was a game changer with temperature hovering around the century mark. Hot tub was an added bonus. Chuck, the owner, always responded quickly to all of our questions. Grocery and other stores nearby in easy driving distance."

"This is a well-presented house and the location is great. I was able to walk into Mathews for food and coffee. The host was very responsive to last-minute needs. The place was clean and well-equipped, except missing a spatula for the frying pan, which the host had sent several over right away. This is a somewhat quirky house, as many of these are, with ample closets in one room but not in the master bedroom, but we enjoyed cooking and dining with family. I recommend this place. "
