The workers were excellent!! The food was excellent. The views were phenomenal. The Guanas are very friendly. Outside of the seaweed smell and pretty much no beach due to the seaweed, we had a great stay.

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort that offers exceptional service and a range of dining options. As a foodie, I tried most of the restaurants and found the meals to be good overall. The Lobster House was my favorite, as it served outstanding breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Kitchen Table offered a breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious options for everyone. This is a one of a kind, amazing experience. I strongly recommend adding on the “chocolate ceremony.” You make chocolate from cacao beans, start to finish. Elda and Julio are amazing hosts who make this an unforgettable experience.

Our family of five visited for a quick weekend getaway for spring break 2021. This was our fifth trip to Grand Residences. The property is beautiful. The master suite is huge, decorated well and kept immaculate. Said that, it's the service and hospitality that will keep you coming back. Beautiful space. Right on the beach. A bit remote unless you have a rental car. So bring food with!! I’d return.

La habitación muy limpia, con varias opciones cerca para comer y para caminar tranquilos. Solo no había jabón de baño en la ducha y tuvimos que salir a comprar cuando ya era tiempo de descansar tambien recomendamos que habiliten una pequeña refrigeradora para mantener los liquidos que compren los huespedes porque el calor es fuerte y se necesita tener liquidos frescos para hidratarnos. This is our second time staying at Ventus El cid. We love staying here! The accommodations are beautiful and very clean. We do spend the majority of our pool time over at the Marina pool. We have young kids and there is a slide and cliff you can jump off of. Plus just a little more lively with fun music and activities. We call this one the fun pool and the other the quiet pool! AS WITH OTHER SECRETS RESORTS, IT IS CONNECTED TO BREATHLESS AND IF YOU BOOK SECRETS, YOU CAN SHARE ALL BREATHLESS AMMENITIES BUT IF YOU BOOK BREATHLESS, YOU CANNOT SHARE SECRETS AMMENITIES.THE SECRETS SIDE IS THE QUIETER COUPLES SIDE WHERE AS BREATHLESS IS THE MORE LIVELY PARTY SIDE FOR EVERYONE. Stayed here 2 weeks for 7 days here and within the first 6 hours I’d fallen in love with the hotel. Breathtaking views of the ocean, luxurious interior designing, clean bedding, amazing food, and most importantly- warm and welcoming staff who were there to help with every question. It is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful. I didn’t like the pressure to buy into the Hyatt properties vacations. We went to visit the resort natural. It was dirty, over populated, restrooms were dirty and only one elevator was working to view a room on the 8th floor. The people giving the information became very rude when we decided to decline the offer. We were asked 4 more times by different managers, bosses, people with different titles.
