The kids club is the best! My kids love it. The breakfast at the international buffet was great, but not lunch and dinner. Lack of different varieties, not many choices. The food is either too salty or over cooked. The Resturants are much better, required reservations. Overall the resort is good for kids with waterpark.

There was black mold in my room, when I went to check in they could not find my reservation, the second room they put me on did not have an iron or ironing board. I told Expedia before hand that I was celebrating my birthday and there was no birthday banner. I had to carry my own bags to my room and across the building to the new room. It was an awful Birthday experience.

We had a great experience staying at Royalton Splash Rivera. The staff and service was great, as we had made our reservations through expedia there was a separate check-in desk for us. Krystel, Royalton team member that took care of us upon arrival was excellent, she was very knowledgeable and helpful in highlighting all the amenities and services available at the resort. She helped us mak multiple restaurant reservations on the property, this was really helpful specially with our large group of 8. The Royalton app would only allow reservations for max 6 people. I would recommend downloading Royalton's app so you can conveniently make reservations at the multiple restaurants on the property and also register kids 4-12yrs for their kids club drop off. They all require 24hrs notice with max # of guests in a party to be 6. Overall we had a excellent stay at Royalton.

Overall property experience was great. My kids had fun, since they also have water slides and stuff for kids, so they can also enjoy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only recommended for the restaurants are, make sure if you are planning to go any restaurants on the property, they are required 24 hrs reservations, otherwise wait is longer sometimes if you don't have reservations. Also, most restaurants also had smaller portion of food due to all inclusive, so if you are hungry and are with a big group, just order extra food to be on a safe side. At night, they have different activities going on which was fun for both adults and kids.

This place does the job of a vacation but expect to be calling front desk and room service multiple times for things missing in the room or cleaning not taking place in due time. Expect room service to take hours before the food comes to you. Also the food is very mid, it’s not high end or well seasoned. Lastly the beach is very dirty and there are crocodiles all around, no one actually tells you about them except guests that see them

Krystel and Jose Luis were great when we got in our first day. The resort is all for kids and the staff embrace them with a happy and safe atmosphere. For us adults I would love to make sure the poolside staff like Abel Hernandez and Alejandro Braves are acknowledged for their friendly service and amazing treatment. The only improvements I would suggest is cleaning the seaweed on the beach washed to shore and the pool near building 13 is a hazard as we watched multiple injuries on people’s feet because of a broken tile

They didn’t tell us there was alligators on the beach. We were swimming and found out on our own. It was very very dangerous!!!! The location of the property is very bad and they will need to inform people before they book and ruin their vacation time!

The Royalton Splash is a beautiful resort. The staff are top notch! Every single staff member made sure everyone and everything was taken care of. I can’t say anything negative about how we were taken care of at the resort. We were there during Hurricane Beryl and they made sure safety was the top priority. The pools were absolutely amazing with plenty of space to not feel crowded. The beach, however was not what I was expecting. Tons of seaweed and murky water, but again we were there during hurricane season and that is expected. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the resort, definitely family friendly!
