We stayed for two nights from September 23 to September 25. It was raining and very cold during those days. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no hot water in the bathroom. We reported the issue on the first day, but no one responded, so we had to take cold showers. As a result, both of us caught a bad cold and completely lost our voices. On the second day, we tried turning the water to the hottest setting and letting it run for 10 minutes, but only got some lukewarm water. In such cold weather, it was still very uncomfortable to bathe. When we checked out, I reported the problem again, but the front desk staff didn’t give me any response. This was truly terrible, I couldn’t even speak for those days because I lost my voice! This was supposed to be a trip we had been looking forward to, and I was also excited to stay at this hotel. But in the end, our trip to Cincinnati was completely ruined by the cold and the illness.

The staff was their best asset! Very helpful, friendly, tried to accommodate any need!! Rooms were clean and beds were comfy!! We ate at the steakhouse in the hotel. Great food and our waitress was absolutely the best!!! The lobby could accommodate several groups of people!! Would stay there again!!

The host was unfriendly and targeting. After receiving paid confirmation, the host called and inquired on the reason for stay and adamantly referred to the community as “protected” with closely monitored noise ordinances. Mind you, the apartment is directly across for the stadium. The area is riddled with the homeless population. Another conversation centered around “no parties” allowed and strict guest limits. At no time did we discuss or suggest we were having a get together and our reservation was a party of 2 with a 6 party posted limit. We had to contact customer service because the host encouraged us to cancel via the app due not being a “good fit” for this protected community. I would be mindful of hosts who charge outrageous security deposits for short stays. I would not recommend this property. There are other great places nearby and more friendly who offer more amenities.

The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in Louisville.

The receptionist with long hair doesn't smile,when the door opens. TV still on we thought someone in the room,There is a garbage under the table in the room, and there are two red dirty things on the carpet too ,a long hair on the blanket ，I originally wanted to change rooms, but the front desk said there was no one to work or tidy up during the holidays when we checked in ，Not a very good experience

Highly recommend. From the moment we walked up to the check-in desk until we checked out we had a wonderful experience. Over the top friendly staff. I really wish I would have gotten two of the front desk women’s names so that I could shut them out, but I do know one of the ladies last name was Cruz and the other lady was an African-American woman with glasses that I really hope can be identified because she was such a wonderful representation of what I believe the hotel would want for their brand. She was friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. I’m sorry I did not get her name. She provided above standard hospitality and should be recognized. If it helps she welcomed us on the late afternoon/evening shift on Thursday 7/15. The food and the lobby was amazing and parking was very easy. We were able to park on the street overnight without a fee and the staff gave us great parking tips. I will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. I have a chance to.
