The cook and serving staff were awesome. Unfortunately the only thing I found that I didn’t like was the bar staff. Long waits for drinks because they were “busy” with the younger girls and they never stirred drinks after making them. Also were very stingy on the pours, I am used to free pours at an all inclusive and these staff were using jiggers to pour an ounce. Overall, the resort was what i was looking for. (999 reviews) My husband and I stayed 3 weeks at Jardin del Eden and it exceeded our expectations for location, food, service. All in a beautiful well laid out property. The rooms are simple and clean and the beds are good. Its also good to note that some of the rooms require climbing some stairs. It wasn't an issue for us. The rest of the resort is the highlight and by far the nicest, lushest resort in the area. Jardin del Eden staff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations for variety and quality. We had a variety of meals for dinner that included chicken, beef tenderloin, fish, lobster, shrimp, pasta and salads. Everyday was different. The swimming pools were the perfect temperature and there is also a bar and dipping pool by the beach. The covered seating areas around the swimming pool and at the beach was plenty. The bonus at this resort was the complimentary daily yoga, sound healing and Pilates classes. Javiera, the main yoga instructor, is one of the best instructors I have experienced. Every morning she offered different yoga classes. My husband and I went every morning before breakfast. It was the best start to our day. Off the resort, the town of Tamarindo and the beach was wonderful and walkable. The water is warm and if you want to swim, jump waves or surf this is the beach. If you need more activity, there is also a tennis and pickleball club available down the street. Enjoy! (544 reviews) I LOVED staying here and if I come back to Costa Rica, this would be where I would want to stay. Johnny at the front desk was absolutely magic. Any problem that we had, he had a solution for. We needed some sea sick medication but our tour got back late and everything was closed. I messaged him at the front desk using WhatsApp around 11PM and he went out and found us some! Another night, it was a night tour and by the time we got back, all the restaurants were closed. We asked him what we should do and he called in a pizza for us while we were on the tour, set the pizza on warmers for us, and then delivered it right to our room. He is excellent and definitely made the experience for us! We actually were upset to be leaving to another city in CR, and all of my friends joked about wanting to take Johnny with us. The beach access with the complimentary sunset drinks were amazing. They had chairs with umbrellas (thank goodness!) so we were able to sit while the sun was blazing. And then, the attendee there brought us cold towels. Amazing! The free breakfast was also amazing with the free option of a prepacked one if your tour leaves early. Honestly, it was some of the best food we’ve had in Tamarinda (a lot of the restaurants in town were a bust :( ) Overall, I absolutely would stay again.
