Great location, a very frindly and helpfu staff at the reception, good breakfast, room with a great sea view, nice pool.

Nice property. Probably great for kids. Prices reasonable. Walking distance in Funchal to downtown and the waterfront. Negative. The bed was hard as a rock.

The breakfast buffet was amazing! The pool was great. It will be better if they have more umbrellas for the beach chairs. The room is spacious. Perfect for family of 4.

An excellent hotel in a fantasric location. Staff really friendly, helpful and professional. Room excellent, particularly the view. Food fantastic. We had a brilliant stay and will be back.

We have just had a 3 night stay at the Hotel and it was lovely. When we arrived the reception staff were very friendly and gave us a brief tour, when our room was ready we were again escorted there by a member of reception. The room was a great size with a small patio area overlooking the lush gardens. We had dinner in the restauarant on our first night, which was excellent, service was impeccable. We used the bar a couple of times, loving the idea that we got to choose our "Happy Hour", we also ate in the Bar on 2 occasions and again the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good with a great slection of food.The Hotel is very traditional and has a lot of character, we will hopefully return one day and would recommend to anyone who would like to be within 15 mins of the centre of Funchal but still stay in a "little oasis".
