Madeira Island Kid friendly Vacations

The gym is good for intermediate weight lifters, basic weights and machines. The food was great, very natural and clean ingredients with several options. Overall we had an amazing stay and would book again. The parking garage spaces are very small, comparable to most places in Europe. It was challenging to park an Audi sedan which isn’t very big. Recommend a smaller car. We stayed for 1 week.

Very nice property. Perfectly located. Rooms were clean and a good size. Perfect for a large family. Activities for people of all ages.

Great location close to the Lido, rooms are very well maintained and spacious. We had a pool and sea view room with a balcony which was great. The breakfast was very varied with an excellent choice and range of food including cereals, fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheese and cooked breakfast options. The reception staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. Bar staff around the pool were friendly and welcoming. The buffet dinner was also excellent with a good variety of choices. The pool area was very well kept, the indoor pool was quieter and the outdoor pool was busier but we were always able to find a sun bed and it never seemed crowded. Overall it was a great location for exploring the island of Madiera. We would recommend it.

Loved the pool area and access to ocean fantastic

Nice hotel, good location…I booked for 2 adults and 1 child, but there was no bed / towels etc for the child. The first bed they brought was tiny and had a rather sharp spike sticking out, the second attempt at the child’s bed was better, and eventually we were given towels for the child. We weren’t given access to the WiFi for some hours too. The manger was supposed to contact us, but we never heard from anyone. The pool on the 8th floor was way too small to cater for the demand, we skipped it mainly, and went to the beach club which was fab. The cleaning staff were lovely and the turn down service was also lovely.

A great hotel in a wonderful setting, all conveniently located for Funchal and access to local amenities.

Good basic 4 star hotel, as a base with a pool and breakfast it was fine for us. As long as a little tired decor doesn’t trigger you you’ll be great. Location is fantastic with a small park next door, shopping centre 5mins walk away and dozens of bars and restaurants nearby.
