The location of the hotel is "ok": it is a trek to the Royal Mile and other principal attractions of the city. The hotel is clean and the room is smartly designed, including coloured LEDs that can be used as night lights. But I'm livid to see the outdoor pool as the primary photograph and selling point of this hotel, only to be told it can be accessed only by paying an ADDITIONAL 47.50£ per person! We already paid $783CAD for a standard room: a warm pool would cost us another $200? Shame, because including the heated pool would have made this 4* (one deducted because the coffee is only some instant packaged garbage with a kettle still wet from the last person to use it). Also, pedestrians really can't access the hotel without walking on the road. I'd skip this place.
