Weekend getaways in Banff

Excellent hotel with comfortable rooms at an outstanding location. Service and staff were great. Easy access to the bus for skiing and a good restaurant (only ate breakfast though they serve all meals). Definitely would return!

We had a wonderful stay at Buffalo Mountain. The grounds were beautiful, the hot tub was perfect, the lobby and dining facility was really nice, we only had breakfast there but it was fantastic. Nice touch of Nespresso machines in rooms. Good location, although not quite walkable to Banff Ave, easy busy stop across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Room very clean, and in hotel restaurant turned out to be be the best bites in town.

The service was the best I've experienced since the pandemic. The hotel remains one of my most favorite in the world for the serene beauty surrounding it.

Amazing to have a 2BD/2BA hotel so close to downtown Banff. We were within 2 minutes walking of a grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, ski shop, and coffee shop. Parking garage is attached to building so you don’t have to go outside. 2 hot tubs on the roof with amazing views!

Wonderful place to stay in Banff. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Excellent pool, hot tub, and sauna. Nice bar and great buffet breakfast.

The front desk was extremely helpful and had excellent recommendations for things to do. Amy in the bistro was also fantastic and had great recommendations for places to eat in Banff.

The rimrock is a bit out of the way from town so that's a pro or con depending in what you like. It's less busy and cleaner as you only have hotel guests and not tourists, and the lobby smells clean and refreshing unlike the muggy Fairmont on a summer day. All the restaurants have a great mountain view. The concierge is super helpful and chill does not have high pressure upsell. The pro is that it's within walking distance to the Banff gondola, which also allows you to hike up (we did, it wasnt...
