The room was spacious and everything appeared clean, including the carpet which was dark in color. However, we later discovered that the bottom of the white slippers we wore, which were provided by the hotel, were black.This was a clear indication that the carpet is in need of a good shampoo. I believe that vacuuming is being done on a regular basis, but a deep thorough cleansing of the carpets is definitely needed.

This is a MUST for kid friendly! The staff was excellent!! They have all the things for kids: snacks 24/7, popsicle phone while swimming, hot and need some soft serve ice cream YEP!! It’s not brand new but I would stay there again!! My kids felt heard & seen and it was honestly the BEST hotel for them, they can’t wait to go back.

I showed up at the Royal Palace with my back completely thrown out while on a solo roadtrip and was very moved by the staff's kindness. They helped me get into my room early so I could lie down, and when it unexpectedly got much worse they helped me extend my stay and even brought me a fork when my food delivery was missing one! The Hotel Figueroa in downtown LA will be our go to hotel whenever we are back in the area. Its central location makes it easy to get to wherever you need to go in the greater LA area. It is a short walking distance from some of the best eating venues in the city. The staff is the best from parking the car literally next door to moving us quickly to another guest room for AC issues. We highly recommend a suite room for extra space.
