Best value on IslaPosted Nov 27, 2013
Pros: Location and new.
Location: Location is a few steps away from the Ultra Mar ferry. Walk to the popular North beach takes 5-10 minutes and is picturesque.
A well run, moderately priced newer hotel. Breakfast is typical of Isla - unless you have an all-inclusive (duh). Breakfast is basic but adequate for most. Friendly staff and well located. It's difficult to find a moderate hotel with dependable a/c, hot water, etc. If you want luxury, go elsewhere and pay big bucks. If you are moderate, this is your hotel.

Great price, location, qualityPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Excellent view and location, clean and well run. Hot water in the showers, which can be hit or miss with some hotels.
Location: Right across from the ferry, which makes it a bit noisy but the patio door cuts sound way down. This is an excellent location for all attractions.
Been to Isla several times and for the price, room 304 at this hotel was well worth it.

Great hotel for a night at Isla MujeresPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Really nice hotel staff, close to beaches and stores, hotel was really clean
Location: The hotel is close to the northern beaches of the island and many little shops and restaurants. The ferry to the mainland is across the street.
We stayed one night here during our two day stay on Isla Mujeres. The hotel was really clean and a great choice. After arriving to Isla Mujeres via ferry you only have to cross the road to get to the hotel. Even we were there way before the check-in time it was no problem and we could directly check-in. The hotel staff was also really helpful with setting up trips for us. The room decor and furniture is modern and gives enough space to storage stuff and relax. All in all, a really pleasant and comfortable stay.

Wonderful hotel - authenic Isla Mujeres experienePosted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: Very clean, basic yet elegant rooms had everything I needed for my stay. Wonderful view of the bay with an outside sitting area - very comfortable!
Cons: Some may argue the breakfast should be more complete, although I was satisfied with its simplicity.
Location: This hotel is steps away from the ferry at the south end of the downtown section of the island. Everything north of the hotel is within an easy walk.
This is not a resort style hotel where you never leave. This is a place where you park your things and get out to explore the island. Everything is within easy walking distance to visit the tourist north end. You'd rent a moto or golf cart to explore the rest of the island to the south of the hotel. When you are spending time at the hotel, you are treated to the fresh, new building right in the midst of daily Isla life. The rooms are beautiful; the included breakfasts are simple (yet all I needed to get a good start to the day); and the staff is present for you when needed.

Clean Hotel within a good price rangePosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: It was clean and good value for money
Cons: increase the length of breakfast and change the way that the bed is made.
Location: Isla Mujeres is amazing, I would stay here for as long as possible, such an amazing beach. Swimming with whale sharks was the highlight of our trip.
We stayed at Hotel Bahia Bric Chic for 3 nights whilst in Isla Mujeres, its extremely close to the ferry stop and is within walking distance to the beach. However, there were nicer places closer to the beach, this hotel had good value for money. The room smelt a tiny bit funny, and the blanket was put inside the bed with the sheet on the outside, so we had to keep re-doing the bed. The rooms were very clean though. The only disappointment was that they lied to us about the Whale Shark tour that they offered. The ones in town are cheaper but the staff insisted that the tour was on the best, safest and biggest boat - all the boats are the same. I was really annoyed that they lied to us. However, the swimming with the whale sharks was amazing - please note that it takes about 1.5 hours to get to the sharks via boat and they take you out in a tiny boat which is not what they tell you when you book. Also they informed us that breakfast was included on the boat and it wasnt. The hotel breakfast was only available for an hour and a half which is not good enough - 7.30-9.00am.

Perfect place in the middle of it all!Posted Aug 24, 2013
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this place! Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was perfect for two people..king size bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, great shower, and maid service everyday. I would definitely recommend paying a little extra for the ocean view, it's incredible and the balcony is perfect for reading and drinking coffee, also a good spot for hanging clothes up to dry after a long day at the beach :) I would without a doubt stay here again. Enjoy!!

Nice hotel in a great location.Posted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: Great location and free internet.
Cons: better breakfast
Location: Walking distance to ferry and every where.
I just spend a night but was very pleasant and well located (very close to the ferry terminal). The room had a room that face the pool but I upgraded to the ocean view. The only thing that I regret was that the weather was really bad the day that I spend there. The breakfast was simple (cereal, fruit, bread and cereal), I couldn't use the safe box because I did not see the instructions (label was missing).

Great hotel on Isla MujeresPosted Aug 19, 2013
Located steps from the ferry terminal on the east side of tow n with expansive views of the gulf of mexico the Bahia Choc Chi is quiet and clean with a warm and friendly staff. I have stayed at other hotels on the Isla but Bahia Choc Chi is my new home in Isla Mujeres.

Fabulous!Posted Aug 15, 2013
Cons: Breakfast was on the marginal side, however it was a pleasant addition.
My son and I went to Isla Mugeres for his 8th birthday. We have been to Cancun before but never to the island. Hotel Bahia Chac Chi was fabulous. The staff were absolutely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was always tidy. It seemed that we would always go back to our room to take a break from the sun when it was to be cleaned. Our lovely hospitality provider did not speak English but always managed to communicate what was needed. By the end of our 8 day stay she made our beds the way we preferred them. It was handy to have a concierge that would help up book the golf cart rental and we got a couple extra hours thrown in on our last day. I would stay again for certain.
