Convenient hotel close to JFK airport

Very pleasantly surprised by the facilities and standard at this hotel. Restaurant stayed open till 11pm and food was very adequate. Easy to get there by air train and shuttle. Staff were helpful.

Sold for 2 beds via expedia, when we arrived they said they don't have , and gave one bed, said breakfast free

Good airport hotel

Pros: The staff and the ambiance raised this hotel from the ordinary.
Location: This is an airport hotel, but there is easy access to Manhattan.
We couldn't fault our stay here. The staff were superb, the room spotless, the food and ambiance better than expected. The shuttle to and from the Airtrain worked smoothly. We would definitely stay there again.

Too expensive for what you're getting in return

Pros: The big pillow on the bed was nice. The proximity to the airport was also nice.
Cons: The cost is too high for what you get. The cost for breakfast was outrageous. Also...$18 for an omelette?! No way!
Location: The area is scary and dirty. There is nothing to do nearby. $20 RT to go to the city on the AirTrain and subway.
The first thing that surprised me is that this hotel was $191+tax per night. But I thought, "It's a Hilton" and went with it. Then when I got to the hotel, I was really disappointed. The area was scary and dirty. When I was in the room, I did love the big pillow on my bed. It was great. I read through the hotel book, which made one issue confusing. The continental breakfast was listed and the price was crossed out with a black magic marker. So I didn't realize I would be charged $26 for two people for a couple of croissants and some fruit. When I spend $230 on a hotel room after taxes, I don't expect a continental breakfast to cost so much per person. I don't mind paying for it, but seriously! Also, I was very disappointed in hotel staff. We called because we could not figure out how to turn on the shower once the water was running. They told us WRONG twice. They finally had to send someone up to look at, and it took that person about 5 minutes to figure out where to turn on the shower portion of the tub. That's ridiculous.I also noticed that we supposedly had the lowest rate for the room for our one night, but that other people were paying much less than we were for the same room. This is not a $200 a night hotel room. The location puts you at a place where you have to pay $5 to get on the air train, then $5 round trip to get to the city, then $5 to get back on the air train. That's $20 to go to the city on top of your room rate. At least they have a shuttle to pick you up.

Everyone was incredibly nice - from housekeeping, to the receptionist, to the parking attendant to the waiters. Was able to keep my car at the hotel and take a shuttle to JFK instead of having to worry about airport parking. Highly recommend staying here.

FALTA MANTENIMIENTO

Pros: No me agrado se ve viejo y descuidado
Cons: Si con mucho mas mantenimiento y mucho mas atención al cliente
Location: no hay nada cerca solo el aeropuerto
Algunas de las habitaciones demasiado pequeñas, en general parece que falta mantenimiento a el hotel por ejemplo las puertas del closet estaban no bien fijadas, la alfombra demasiado sucia, el elevador muy lento, para lo costoso del hotel de menos nos hubieran puesto agua para beber en las habitaciones, todo lo tienes que comprar. el Suttle para el aeropuerto demasiado viejo
