Vey nice quiet property with its own beach, away from the crowds of Waikiki, but easy access to nearby neighborhoods. Beat to have a rental car if you stay here since it is in an isolated area of Honolulu. Fantastic place to stay!

The property is well maintained with spacious rooms with outstanding views of the ocean, golf course and mountains. The staff in both the hotel and the shops were extremely accomodating during our stay.

The only bummer was my brand new Kahala Yeti mug was taken by someone in the pool area and never returned. They're not cheap! Other than that the stay was awesome!

i have stayed at the kahala several times over a few decades and i feel like the property is getting tired and needs a refurbishment. It feels dated. I was told my room was newly refurbished and i guess it must have been really bad before because it didn’t feel all that different from previous stays. It doesn’t feel like a five star resort.
