“It was nice for a quick stay to catch a few hours sleep. We didn't eat at the restaurant or breakfast so don't know about the food.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Anthracite while in town for a wedding. From check in to check out all was smooth. The accommodations were well maintained and the location was convenient to both our Honesdale wedding and meeting up with family in Hawley. The breakfast was well executed with plenty of options. Coffee was served fresh by a waitstaff. If ever we're passing through, we'll be back.”

“Maybe you are disappointed about the hotel when you first see it. But when you go inside the room, you will be amazed.”

“Breakfast was always fresh, the bed, sheets and blankets were very comfortable, linens were very clean, The staff was friendly and very easy to talk to and I enjoyed how quiet it was when I chose to go to sleep for the night. Noticed that your overhead roof that you can pull cars underneath.... Only about half the recessed lights were working and some were constantly blinking. I'm not complaining about this, just wanted to bring it to your attention (insert smiley face emoji)”

“I booked this hotel because it was pet friendly and close to where we had plans. I knew from research that the hotel was outdated, but I thought that it might be kind of fun to stay there. I was very disappointed by the uncleanliness of the hotel. From the garbage all throughout the property and surrounding woods, the mildew smell throughout the hotel and rooms, and filthy patio furniture with cobwebs all over them.
