"This motel seems to be doing as well as they can with what they have. The staff was attentive and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected. The landscaping is probably as good as the severe Mariposa climate will yield. My main negative comment is that the facility is well worn and needs a facelift. The hallway carpets are stained and worn. Our room had a musty smell and the A/C cooling was mostly ineffective and required attention halfway through our stay (however the staff response to our maintenance request was quick). The Pool was clean but could have used more furniture."
