"This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Similar to other European properties, the outer door leads to a shared interior space. Reception is on the second floor. The staff was very kind and helpful and allowed to us to leave our bags before check-in time and provided us with a map of the city. Our room was spacious and clean. The room had an AC unit as well and it overlooked a little courtyard. Very pleasant stay. "

"The location was excellent you can walk to all major sites. The rooms were comfortable and staff very helpful. If you have problems climbing stairs this is not the place for you. I had no issues with the stairs but I know some people might. "

"The hotel is situated in an excellent location - just minutes of walking from the Duomo or the Gallerie D’Accedemia, as well as dozens of restaurants, shops and cafes. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite small and (in a 40C heat wave) the A/C wasn’t able to keep up so it tended to be uncomfortably hot - not sure how well it works in normal conditions. Great location if you just need a place to sleep while exploring the sights on foot. "

"The hotel is very dark and smells of cigarette smoke everywhere. There is no where to sit and relax and be comfortable. The reception area is small, dark, uncomfortable furniture. This is a place for someone who is only looking to be in their room to sleep and shower and is not worried about being comfortable at all. Sheets are old and pillows completely flat. Beds are hard, even towels smell like cigarette smoke. The area of the hotel is close to the center of town. "

"The whole place is more like a run-down East European student hostel we all experienced in the 80's and 90's as we grew up. The problem is that now we live in 2018 and this hotel is still sub-standard. So the "hotel" is located between the 3rd and 5th floors in the building. Luckily the lift works.
