“The first room provided had a smoke smell. We had to take all are luggage back to the first floor front desk. We changed rooms. There is a swimming pool but in the Winter, we enjoy the spa but they didnt provide it. My son was cold so he wanted to take a bath but the water stopper was broken. Staff tried to fix it but she said tomorrow at 7 am people could come to fix it or we could change rooms again. We do not appreciate the service but we did not want to change rooms again. “I chose Days Inn by Wyndham Lakewood South Tacoma mainly because it was close to the location of my meeting and more affordable compared to other hotels in the area. Check-in took longer than expected, although the check-out process was very quick. The room appeared to have been somewhat renovated, but there was a musty smell upon entering. I also found a strand of hair under the pillow, which was unpleasant. Since I only needed to stay for one night, I initially tried not to make a big issue……
