“Waited a good 10 minutes at 6pm for someone to help me at the front desk. I was in the lobby all by myself. It didn’t seem like the hotel was very busy. It would have been appreciated to get a room with a better view, if available. I didn’t find the staff overly friendly or helpful. Bed was comfortable. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, they water theirs down. Tub/shower combo. Nice separate kitchen and living space. There’s a decent restaurant across the parking lot, Hopscotch and a……

“There is no hot water when we arrived. Waited for the whole day, still no progress. The staff is polite but not very helpful in providing alternative solutions. So we checked out early. Expedia contacted the hotel for refund and no one is answering the email or the phone call. So yeah, I got ghosted.”

“Sylvan Inn was an AMAZING stay! Beck was a gracious, kind, and extremely helpful host. Breakfasts were delicious and tried to meet dietary needs (exchanged eggs for yogurt, added eggs when more protein was needed, etc.). The room was delightful- clean and so cozy. Tea, water, and coffee were available. Great location- within eye sight of several good restaurants and ice cream, walking distance from beach access, and minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes. Overall a wonderful stay!”
