“Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept.
Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible.
Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared.
We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't……

“The room was clean and spacious, with a small double appointed as a single bed which was lovely. Loads of storage space too. The bathroom was excellent, really big for a single room, and stocked with the amazing Bloom Remedies products I've come to love in this chain.
I booked last minute and asked to be placed in the quietest part of the hotel, which was accommodated. The hotel is a beautiful building with lush grounds, ample parking and is situated only a 10-15min stroll from the city……

“Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting.
The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices.
Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful.
