“Nice quiet place to stay”

“The outside of the facilities looked abandoned. Kind of scary. The parking lot had potholes feet across and 8 inches deep. When you got to the building the lock was off leading to the stairs. The floor to my room was uneven and there was a seam by the rest room had a 1/2 wide seam hole in the floor. The room itself was clean but they did a half-ass job with the I'm guessing was a remodel. The staff weren't helpful, Could direct me to the Civic Center downtown. They took my request……

“It was like staying in an 1800's Victorian Maison with everything but servants. They did have modern amenities. The place is so large that you hardly saw the other guests. The house cat Root beer was very friendly when you did see her. While you have to fix your own breakfast the kitchen is modern and well equipped and available for use all day. The house is loaded with period furniture and artwork some of which are modern recreations. It is a family run operation. While the house has been……
