“Husband & I were in shock when we arrived. Photos are so deceiving. I should've read the reviews first. The place is a dump! It's a pay-by-the-hour rental..bring your own partner or they can call you one 😉 I took a fast shower while hubby booked a room at the next big town on our route. The hot water started out yellow-gold. Since the AC was off, the room never cooled down in the hour we were there. “I had groups of black ants crawling on me and in the bed. and on the floor. The breakfast food looked like vomit and the sausage and gravy were extremely watery. The carpet in the hotel has an old moldy smell. The Staff gets 5 stars, and the renovations appearance was aesthetically pleasing. Alot of noise in the hallways early in the morning. “Do NOT book this Hotel. This hotel is now a MOTEL 6 and they will NOT honor the booking and will leave you stranded with no place to stay. The place is pretty dirty and very run down. There was trash everywhere, furniture all over the 3nd floor balcony and people partying in the parking lot. No one is manning the office. They have a paper with a phone number to call. “We stayed at this hotel the night before our vacation and the night we got back. It was perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, check in/out was easy and staff friendly. The first room we had was great. No complaints. The second room wasn’t as updated. My husband had to fix the running toilet and the thermostat was broken. We had to adjust the air directly so it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again.”
