Amazing Location steps from Historic Old Town, Museums and Restaurants

Incredible find! Location Location Location. Casa Pearla is a comfy, cozy private two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, two story townhouse with RARE two car garage located one street off Route 66 between historic Old Town and the gorgeous old Albuquerque Country Club area. Restaurants, shops and museums are less than a quarter mile away and the very popular food court in Sawmill is close too! About 1/2 mile West of Casa Pearla is our wonderful Albuquerque BioPark, Tingley Beach and the running/biking trails along the Bosque. Court houses, downtown, UNM and area hospitals are a quick 5 minute drive away.

Guests says Casa Pearla is their home away from home. The space is light-filled with stylish and comfortable furnishings, a smart TV, free WIFI, a well stocked kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher and refrigerator, a full sized washer and dryer, iron and ironing board with a half bathroom downstairs and a full sized private bathroom upstairs. Outside is a welcomining covered back patio, verdant side yard with roses bushes and a walled front court yard

Upstairs are the two bedrooms (1 queen/1 full) and full bath. The beds have luxury linens and memory foam mattresses that guests rave about! A great bonus is fabulous terrace off the second bedroom complete with a traditional hanging rista with little solar twinkle lights. The shared bathroom has a vanity with two sinks, a bathtub/shower combo and a large skylight that bathes the space in natural light. Soaps, shampoos and fluffy towels await and there is a hair dryer and even some first aid items too, just in case.

Often overlooked but so, so important comfort-wise is the air conditioning, I upgraded the air conditioning to central air instead of the common evaporative cooling that is still commonly used in Albuquerque (which necessitates cracking open a window to cool a room yikes! and can only lower temps by about 20-25 degrees). Another bonus at Casa Pearla is the two car garage. How convenient to be able to load and unload your luggage while keeping your belongings secure!.

Finally, it is important to me that my guests are comfortable while making many wonderful memories in Albuquerque staying at Casa Pearla. I invite you and look forward to the many return visitors and welcome new guests as well!

Wonderful home base - Just as described

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Pearla as our home base for exploring Albuquerque and taking a day trip to Santa Fe. Alyce is a terrific host. She is very organized and communicates all relevant information clearly and in a timely manner. She is truly committed to her guests having a comfortable and relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

Great home

Nice home close to many things we wanted to see and do. The garage is a really nice feature. An abandoned restaurant and a car wash across the street were disappointing but once inside it was another world. The neighborhood felt safe and was pretty quiet considering how close Central Ave is.

Great Casa!

Great place to stay in Albuquerque. We enjoyed every aspect of this clean and wonderful place. Do remember it's two story, so that could be a problem for some. If we are coming back to Albuquerque, we will definitely be checking with Alyce

Fantastic Casita Near Old Town

We’ve just returned from our second extended stay at Casa Pearla and we can’t recommend this house or our host any more highly. The unit is delightfully and tastefully furnished with Southwestern artwork, the kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking gear you may need and the beds are super comfortable and cozy! Our host Alyce was exceptionally responsive, to boot. Well be back!

Perfect for our needs

Casa Pearla is a gem in the Old Town area. It is so well decorated and Alyce provides many thoughtful touches for her guests. The beds are very comfortable and the outside sitting areas are lovely. Amazing Oasis

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Pearla! The host, Alyce, was on top of all pre-visit communications and the house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with snacks and cold beer. Super easy walking distance to Old Town, and if you head the other way on Rte 66 you'll be at the Rio Grande in no time, with a really nice bike and run/walk path. When we're back in ABQ we'll definitely return to Casa Pearla!

We loved our stay at Casa Pearla. It is an adorable, restful, well appointed place with a patio to enjoy the hummingbirds. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with some thoughtful gifts from our host. Excellent location, close to Old Town and Hotel Albequerque. Two car garage, washer dryer, 1.5 bathrooms. Communication with our host was timely and excellent. One of the best stays I have had in a VRBO! You’ll love it!!!

Great townhome within walking distance to Old Town. Beautiful private patio to enjoy the outdoors. We loved the decor, furnishings and beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, plenty of space for four people. The garage was an added plus!! The owner is very responsive and we loved her special touches like the “welcome” cookies, coffee and personal note. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thanks for everything Alyce!

Old Town Comfort

This property is very close to Old Town shops, restaurants and very close to the walking trails on the Rio Grande. The Host is very accommodating, they made available snacks, drinks and some great local salsa and chips. The backyard is secluded and comfortable, and artistically decorated. The beds are excellent, nice firm temperpedic and very comfortable. I would truly recommend this property, we will be returning frequently when we travel to visit our son and their partner. A sweet, comfortable house with a great location

My youngest daughter and I stayed at Casa Pearla. My daughter will be living in Albuquerque for the summer, and we wanted to visit before she moved. Casa Pearla was perfect for us! Old Town is a short walk as well as the BioPark and a coffee & bagel shop we fell in love with. The house is adorable and very comfortable. We truly loved the outdoor space and spent many hours out there reading, talking and relaxing. Plus the house has a garage! We loved being able to park our car in the garage instead of in the driveway or on a street. Alyce was great. She checked in on us during our stay and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Right when the 4 of us arrived at Casa Pearla we were so pleased and impressed with all inside and outside. Such colorful rooms and quality accommodations. Loved the towels, shower and double vanity upstairs bathroom; everything we needed in the kitchen, dining room and living room; and would have thoroughly enjoyed all outdoor areas if not for the rain. Thank you, Alyce. You're a Super Host indeed and we would all come back! Oh, Old Towne only 1 block away kept us busy 2 days! Incredibly convenient and fun!

Perfect location. Perfect host.

We totally enjoyed our time at Alyce’s home. Our daughter moved here a year ago and we wanted to check out her town. We were here a total of two weeks and still have more on our to do list. Hikes: Sandia crest trail, Piedra Lisa Canyon trail, the Bosque on the Rio Grande. Restaurants: Gruet winery, Sawmill (twice!), Lescombes winery, Cocina Azul, El Patio. Drinks at La Vado. All great. Travel: White Sands for sunset. El Maipais (sunset and sandstone arch). Ghost Ranch. Bandelier. Bisti Badlands w a native guide. (www.navahotoursusa) Bisti was our favorite. But white sands and El Maipais were also super cool. Local activities: hikes, the tram, Old Town, archeological museum, visit the murals. This is a great place to use as home base to explore a great town. We will be back for more. There is so much to do here.

Wonderful stay within a very short walk to Old Town, location was amazing! Great space, quiet and clean. Beds were comfy, good water pressure in shower. Kitchen was well equipped. Cozy living room space. Nice outdoor patio space. Great communication from host for check in and check out. Highly recommend High Noon for dinner, food was delicious and they have the BEST margaritas - freshly made, no yucky bottled mixes! Also, Church Street Cafe had an amazing breakfast, and I would think their dinner is fabulous as well. 10/10!
