“The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”

“My family and I stayed here while visiting family in Monson. It was very convenient and safe.
We were greeted with smiling faces upon our arrival. The staff were very accommodating and such a joy to interact with.
The rooms were very clean and spacious.
The breakfast was served hot every morning with a variety of options for my hungry teens. The pool was great on a couple rainy days.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this particular location based on the staff alone.……

“Very well renovated motel, nice looking room, new bathroom fixtures. Good locaition off of I-91, small grocery in Northfield 5 miles away. Definitely recommend it, only lacks food/groceries nearby (looks like their restaurant is in the process of renovation though).”

“Lovely updated property. Small pool and had issues with the AC in the gym but the lovely staff, nice breakfast and clean updated amenities made up for it. I would return.”
