"Looks like this hotel was an ex Travelodge. Staff very friendly, although a bit off putting that the reception staff had perspex clear barriers, possibly to protect them?!?. Basic hotel, room and bathroom clean enough, although in the room 'hazard tape' was on the wall by the bed, maybe to cover a hole in the wall. We parked in the car park directly opposite, very convenient, especially as it was raining...£13.90 for 24 hours, so not over the top expensive. All in all great for one night :))"

"Our room was a little small, but it had everything we needed and was clean. We have stayed here several times and recommend Stone Trough to anyone travelling in the area. The food is really good and many people just call in to eat. At a weekend they have to give you an allotted time for breakfast, in order to get everyone in! Breakfast and evening meal were excellent and staff are very obliging and friendly"
