Berkeley Chalets

I don't have a single negative thing to mention about this hotel and whoever is reading this, don't hesitate to book here- you will not be disappointed. The hotel is located in a wonderful location- with a convenience store, Target and food options either across the street or a short walk around the block. Upon check in we were immediately greeted and offered water, tea and coffee (which is provided free of charge throughout your stay. Since there is only metered street parking available, Best...

Perfect location close to all and easy freeway access plus abundant safe free parking. Highly recommend

Excellent location. Excellent staff.

Loved staying at this hotel. Super unique, and super comfortable. I felt like I was stepping back into a golden era. The Tuesday night trivia was a wonderful addition to my stay, and I highly recommend Tuesday Trivia Night.

Ideal location and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The Graduate was gorgeous, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Absolutely would stay again

I was looking for a cheap place to stay in Berkeley that was convenient to the bus and Bart lines, and the Marina Inn was perfect. 51b stops right outside to go to downtown Berkeley, plus it is just a short walk down for the marina or the North Berkeley Bart station. Very clean and comfortable room, with hard wood floors and big screen tv. I was very happy with my choice.

My go to in the area for staying. Love this place and its location.

My husband and I visit to Berkeley 2-3 times per year because my kid is attending at UC Berkeley. I searched hotels to find a place that is in a walkable distance, affordable, convenient, clean, has good bed, and includes breakfast. After the first visit at this hotel, I am keep reserving this place.

This Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Great customer service, Clean, and right in the middle of everything. Even the staff helped us with parking accomodations because you have to pay for street and parking lot parking. The restaurant attached to the hotel has amazing chinese food. overall i had a great experience and would recommend this hotel

Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. On arrival, the doorman (shamefully I didn’t get his name) was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I had injured my knee a couple of days earlier and was on crutches and he did everything he could to help me. At the front desk, Jared and Dominique were warm, welcoming, professional and...

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. The room was quiet and very well designed. Little details in the design were smart and made it super comfortable. Love the blackout shades and the shade in the “window” of the bathroom. Nice to have a foot bar in the shower. There were no plastic bags in the garbages. Loved the floor material. Super...

Very nice hotel right next to the Amtrak station. We took the train so location was perfect. However, you will hear trains running day and night. Very clean room, comfortable bed, great shower. Fridge and microwave. Great breakfast buffet. Walk to wonderful food court place with many options.

The room was clean and fresh. The bed linens were crisp and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, flat screen tv, and hair dryer. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, fruit and pastries are provided in the main office in the morning. The hotel staff was friendly, even going so far as to remember and address me by my name when greeting me in the morning. My primary complaints would be 1) the road noise, which, for the most part can be shut out by...

Great breakfast buffet

Host Alexis went above and beyond to assist us with our stay. She was awesome!
