“The staff was very helpful when we arrived late at night. They were also very responsive when I had some concerns about the swimming pool pump not operating, which they fixed immediately.”

“When I got there was expecting to pay the amount left as what it showed. No I had to pay 100 more then what it said to pay when getting there. The stay was nice I liked it just when I expected to get the 100 deposit back I haven’t received it yet. I tried to call and ask about it and got hung up on. I took pictures before and after of the place due to how much the deposit was and I haven’t received it back and no one will talk to me. Not happy.”

“It's quite different from other Marriott hotels I've been to. It didn't meet my expectations.”

“Trash still in the room, no towels were left in the room. Then there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain. Contacted front desk and all she said was cleaning lady must have forgotten to take out the trash and put towels. Not caring at all!”

“The pool door was supposed to be open, it wasn't. There were no towels. The chlorine smell was overpowering, and the breakfast was mediocre, compared to the other Tru hotels I've stayed at. However, room was clean and everything else was fine.”

“What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful.”
