"Views of sheep from conservatory in back (where we spent most of our time) and glorious water views from dining table out front which are not shown in listing but should be! Very comfy well equipped older cottage. Keith was great to chat with. The 4 mile one track road in was slow due to the traffic to the Talisker Distillery but that is no fault of the cottage. Just a fact on Skye!"

Two improvements would be helpful - we had 6 people and number of glasses and basic dishes were exact at six or a little less in some categories, which was inconvenient. "The location was excellent but finding the property was hard. A small flag at the driveway entrance would help a lot. We loved sitting out at the fire pit in the evening the view is fantastic, and the ambiance memorable. The Aga stove needs to be on if you are going to cook, but does give off a lot of heat. "Enjoyed our overnight stay at the Tongadale Hotel. Second visit and going back in September. Had a meal in the restaurant, menu had a good selection, was freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Rooms clean and fresh. Breakfast could have been warmer but again good selection to choose from. Overall good value. "
