"We had an amazing time here! Our terrace room had a beautiful view, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were amazing! They made reservations for us and brought us extra toiletries multiple times. Everyone was so friendly! The location of the hotel couldn’t be better either. Staying here enhanced how magical our stay in Camogli was!"

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room with about 10 tables, floor to ceiling windows looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast was excellent quality. If...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

Amazing hotel! I wanted to stay here forever! The town of Camogli is truly remarkable and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at on the Italian Riviera. Highly recommend! There is also easy access via ferry to gorgeous San Fruttuoso and Portofino! There's also a train very close walking distance from the hotel that you can take to get to the Cinque Terre towns in around 45 mins. Camogli and Cenobio dei Dogi though are so beautiful you won't want to leave this town. The hotel has...

We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

Nice personal, get a lot of trip suggestions from them. Great location, close to train, ferry, and historical part. BTW, the town itsels is well maintained.

Impressed by an updated and specious room with a huge balcony and spectacular view. Clean overall, a bit tight shower, but other perks are worth it. Great pool and check out at 12pm is a plus too.

The staff was very helpful with everything we needed on where to park to how to get around. Breakfast was very nice and the rooms were so pretty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great updated space. The only downside is the noise from people returning to their rooms late at night (you can hear people talking). Otherwise great place to stay and very helpful staff.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Continental even during the offseason! Our room had panoramic ocean views. The property was well-maintained, peaceful, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. While it was a quieter time of year, I actually appreciated the tranquility and had a great experience exploring the area without the usual crowds. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out.

We had a wonderful time here. The location is very central, only a few minutes walk to great food, shopping, and the waterfront. The manager was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. He gave us lots of recommendations of what to do in Santa Margherita and Portofino, and we had a fantastic time following his advice. Thank you!!

This was a great little hotel. Very impressed with the staff. I had an early morning train before the breakfast room was open. When I checked out the desk agent fixed me a cup of coffee and gave me a sweet. That was service!

The best area to stay in Boschetto is the Centro Storico (Historic Center), particularly for those seeking a convenient and scenic base for exploring the region.
The Centro Storico is the heart of Boschetto, characterized by its narrow, cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and charming piazzas. It's a pedestrian-friendly area, making it easy to walk to local shops, trattorias, and points of interest like the main church and the small harbor. This area provides easy access to the ferry services that connect Boschetto to other towns along the Ligurian coast.
Couples will find the Centro Storico particularly appealing for its romantic setting and easy access to evening strolls along the waterfront or intimate dinners at local restaurants. The proximity to ferry departures makes day trips to picturesque neighboring villages straightforward and enjoyable.
For families, staying closer to the town's small public gardens or the less steep areas near the water's edge within the Centro Storico offers convenience.
When is the best time to go to Boschetto?
The best time to visit Boschetto is during the shoulder seasons, specifically late April to early June and September to October, for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
During these months, the temperatures are comfortable for exploring, typically ranging from the mid-60s to high-70s Fahrenheit. You'll find that popular attractions are open, and restaurants are fully operational, but you won't encounter the peak summer crowds. This period is ideal for couples seeking a relaxed yet engaging trip, enjoying scenic walks and al fresco dining without the hustle and bustle.
If you prefer warmer weather for swimming and sunbathing, July and August offer higher temperatures, usually in the 80s Fahrenheit. This is the peak season, drawing more families to the coastal areas. While it can be busier, the extended daylight hours and warm sea make it great for beach activities and water sports.
