"The hotel was beautiful. The check in process was clumsy. There were 3 people at the desk, but only one checking anyone in. However, there was an unusual amount of security presence around me and my Black children who were away to enjoy my son’s birthday. I had to keep affirming that I was the well-behaved teens’ mother to various people so they would allow us to enjoy the hotel’s spaces. They did give us an upgraded room from two double beds to two queen beds, but it was very unappreciated that they kept saying the room number out loud. Several things in the room were broken/missing like the sink cracked in several places and the door covering the A/C unit was opened and wouldn’t close back fully. Also there were no sheets or pillows for the pullout couch we had to go down and get those which is fine just inconvenient. Overall a good stay. "
