“ We are accustomed to a more natural setting so this lush, open air setting with the songs of many birds and frogs in the background was absolutely perfect. There are neighbor cabins on the farm but because of distance and the lush vegetation it feels very private— with the exception of a visit by a very friendly black cat in the evening, we didn’t see any people. “Beautiful property and wonderful host! Christophe and his crew are all so friendly and helpful.The banyon bungalow was just as described. A small cottage open to the sounds of nature. It was frogs all night long and birds in the morning. There are plenty of screens to keep bugs out. We loved the outdoor shower. The kitchen has a hot plate and microwave and a small selection of pots/pans so we were able to do some basic cooking. There is also a full outdoor kitchen on the property that you can……

“This was our first visit to the Big Island and we stayed for 10 days. We had a blast! Cheryl was a wonderful host. She lives on the property, which is nice because she’s close by if anything comes up and she has great suggestions on stuff to do nearby. But she was very respectful of our privacy and we only saw her if we sought her out. The house was perfect for our family with four young children. It’s very lived in and not so nice that I was stressed out all the time about my kids being kids,……

“We loved every minute in this beautiful home. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We did not spend a whole lot of time hanging out inside the house because the lanai was to die for. Beautiful views and amazing sunsets! Nice breezes to keep you comfortable.
