“This property was unique and we're so happy to chose to stay here.Pros: The views are incredible and the outdoor living spaces were very comfortable - in particular we spent a lot of time on the high top chairs, sofa bed, and two person dining table. The kitchen was fully stocked and operational with everything we needed. The bedroom was perfectly sized and comfortable. It was so easy to access Manini Beach (you can walk). By staying in Captain Cook you have a much more "locals" experience.……

“The Mermaid Studio is a hidden gem south of Kona. We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was larger than expected and very clean. The grounds are gorgeous and it has the best outdoor shower I've ever been in. It's large and clean, and I didn't want to get out! The property is a two-minute walk from excellent snorkeling. The drive to the property is beautiful with winding roads and lush greenery all around. All of the basic supplies were available on arrival. I would absolutely stay here……

“This was an excellent spot to post up for a couple of days in the Kailua-Kona area. Avoids a lot of the traffic off Ali’i Drive and makes it easy to get to a ton of places on the island. The breeze at night coming down the mountain is great natural air conditioning and the yard is gorgeous with a plenty of adorable geckoes and anoles to spot. Toby is a laidback and friendly host, would absolutely stay here again.”
