"Close to everything . I wish there was more shade . Cute souvenir shop nearby . The lux bar had really good food and drinks and by the pool . The girl bartender there was so friendly. I loved how easy it was to go back and forth to renissance island . The only negative is not close to an actual beach"

"They charge gratuity automatically which isn’t uncommon in Nassau. However, it seems that because the staff knows they’re getting tips regardless, they don’t bother being attentive. If I pay auto-gratuity, I expect the pool staff at the pool bar/restaurant to bring me my order. Instead, they all stood around talking to each other and forgot about my food until I went up and asked for it. By that time, it was cold. When I stopped by the sushi spot near the lobby at 9:38pm, the waitress said they close the kitchen at 9:30pm, but I can order to go. She rushed me to order and barely gave me a minute to look over the menu. For how expensive these places are, service is SERIOUSLY lacking… The hotel itself is gorgeous, but the restaurants are outrageously expensive with terrible service."
Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"We had a relaxing and comfortable time at the Riu. The entire staff bent over backwards to help us, especially the use of a wheelchair for my wife. Great selection of good food for all meals. We ate at three of the restaurants within the Riu. The food and service were very good, however it seemed like 2 of the 3 kind of encouraged us to leave as soon as our dinner was finished. Would have enjoyed staying for 15-20 minutes more. No other concerns, would recommend and return to Riu in Paridise Island."

"Great property for larger families! Fully stacked kitchen, beautiful beach steps away from the property, lots of activities a short walk from the tower. Loved everything except for constant demand for tips on top of already 15% charged tip on everything. Charged “ gratuity “ is on services, food, goods plus VAT.. It took me a few days not to react to the approach."

"My only issue with the resort was, there were no vending options. Candy bar, chips, soda pop, all totally non-existent. And if u found a restaurant, that offered soda pop, going price was $4 per can minimum. Best best for vending options is to find your way to the nearest grocery store (Centrum), and get those items there."
Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino

"This property has the beach, the location and the great staff. It also has the biggest price tags. Not saying it isn’t worth it, but be ready. It also has the worst casino on the island. Luckily the Hyatt down the street has probably the nicest casino so it worked out."
