"I had to reschedule my stay and was charged for the room anyway, even though I paid the extra money for the insurance, and I have made several calls, left several messages in attempt to reach the Springhill suites manager and have been unsuccessful and have yet to receive a callback."

"I booked this room, prepaid, for a friend whose baby is currently in the NICU after heart surgery. The friend does not have the funds for all the travel they have had to do to be with the baby since her birth in February (3 months early). They had not yet been approved for the Ronald McDonald house.....which they thankfully are now. 3 woman and child arrived to check in to this prepaid reservation and they were denied check in because they didnt have money for a deposit. The deposit was not mentioned anywhere or I would have given them that as well. So they slept in the lobby of the hospital and the hotel refuses to return the calls og expedia or corporate to refund my money for a stay they refused. Do. Not. Recommend. Check my other reviews. I do not leave negative reviews."

Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square

"Had a very nice one-night stay at the Sheraton. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had a nice view of the city and some of the bridges. It’s very convenient to the center city, with a light rail stop a short walk down the street and only 2 stops to get into town. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. If you are into running there’s a nice long trail right along the River. We were there for a concert at PPG and it was perfect."

"Every time I needed the front desk personnel- I had to wait. There was a sign saying “helping other guests be right back”nope! Hanging outside smoking. I was on the 6th floor- whole floor very humid. My brother was on 3rd floor and it was fine. On check out, as soon as the elevator doors opened, we were hit with the most disgusting smell- there were workmen there-i assume to take care of it, but all I saw was them walking around and laughing about how terrible it smelled. Really disappointing stay. Also VERY dated room and the bed was the worst!!! With even the slightest movement, the bed creeked SO LOUDLY!! I never leave reviews, but the experience was that bad."

"The hotel is very old and smelled of mildew. The staff was nice, but unable to help with my concerns. There are visable cracks, peeling paint, elevator buttons getting stuck/lights not working, light bulbs out in hallways and signs of aging all around the hotel. The pool is working but small. The part of town the hotel is located in, there are no resturaunts or fast food in walking distance. Unfortunately there was a couple next door chain smoking weed and being very loud all hours of the night, so I could not stay for more than one night."

"I had to find a place to stay that was close to the hospital. I came upon this hotel and was so thankful we did! They were more than nice at the front desk. Very friendly people. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever!"
