“We booked 2 rooms for 2 days. There was a very strong odor of dog urine in the office. The owner/ receptionist had 3 dogs running around in there. The rooms were reasonably clean. However there were used false eyelashes and a couple of press on nails left on top of the microwave. The first day went well. The second day we went to the pool. There was an electrical outlet on the wall that my daughter plugged her phone charger into. There were no signs stating not to use outlet. The owner/……

“If your booking through Expedia. Call ahead to learn how to sign in to your room. Its All ONLINE. There's nothing mentioned on the Expedia site about this. You can catch the site manager to get signed in. There are NO WHEELCHAIR accessible rooms. We had to build a small ramp to get ours inside. Rooms are very nice and the AC is cold. Ask how to adjust it because there is no control in the room. Now that we know the layout we will be visiting again. We will bring our own ramps next time.”

“The Carriage House Inn was a perfect place to stay while in Southport. It was in an excellent location, and the owners thought of everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend staying there!”

“Room was very clean, quiet, ocean front was REAL ocean front, location, bed, AC, TV, kitchenette, was great. NO elevator however. 3 floors of stairs in 95° is not fun. Parking is trying for larger vehicles. Price for ocean front seems good. Beach is very good, no issues with noise or unruly people.”

“Our stay at the Starlight was great! Our room was clean, updated and spacious. There is a microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board. A ceiling fan and the air conditioning helped keep the room cool after a hot day at the beach! Convenient to everything in Carolina Beach. You can walk to the beach, the boardwalk, restaurants and entertainment! We would stay there again!”
