"Had a frustrating experience with the hotel where I came a day late and they had given up my room, despite my calling the day before to ensure that did not happen. Caused us to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes while they scrambled to get a room ready, but they were not transparent about that and kept saying they just needed the manager to sort things out. Eventually, the manager did apologize and tried to make it up to us, but the initial frustration and lack of transparency hurt our experience. Additionally, the rooms were much smaller and in worse shape than they appeared online. I was surprised to hear this was rated as a 4-star hotel since it felt like a 3 or lower given the quality of the hotel and our experience."

"This is a super convenient option from JFK Airport. We were here for a weekend trip to see family and needed something affordable, but clean and had good service. This was the best option we found in the area. Also highly recommend the Lucky Boy restaurant across the street. This is a Greek restaurant with really good food. It was also a close location the things and people we wanted to see"
