“Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! “Super cozy and comfortable cabin! We had a wonderful time using the fire pit and the self-serve camp store was so convenient. It was just big enough for the two of us and the bed was comfortable! Check in super easy, online and contactless. The grounds are clean, beautiful and tucked away from the actual park. We also enjoyed the included after hours access to the sand dunes, it was so nice to explore in the twilight with no other visitors around. ”

“Great location to Freeport shopping. Very clean and responsive staff and management. Fun for families with children. We would have liked more room inbetween cabins, but otherwise would highly recommend.”
