Got there didn’t have the right room so I had to argue to get the one I paid for.got a high floor room for hopefully a good view but was directly at another building so not sure what the point was for paying for a higher floor and cleaners came in when the door had do not disturb on it.

I paid for room with King sized bed because that’s what we wanted and needed. Reservation was prepaid well in advance. Check in was slow as heck - why do y’all put your front desk team through that? It was acknowledged that it was a “sold out weekend”…ok, staff accordingly, or it’s a failure in leadership. Summer in Chicago, right in downtown, on the water - literally, from historical data, y’all know that your hotel is slammed. The cherry on the top of slow check in was that my prepaid King turned into a worse room with two twin beds. Not what I paid nearly $900 for. And in calling the front desk to even request a room change - front desk did not pick up six times…phone just went in circles then hung up…and that’s because this hotel is shamefully understaffed. Chicago Hilton will have endless customers simply due to location. However, know full well that the management cares nary a wink about you, the customer, or its staff. Just squeeze more juice out of the lemon, right? However, I’m filing a chargeback.

Booked a king room and upon check in was told there were no king rooms available. We had to settle for a double full room but was charged the king room rate! We were in Chicago for a concert otherwise we would have found another hotel. We needed a hotel close to soldier field. Will never book here again!

I didn't like the unexpected 29 dollars you were charged when you checked in. You could use 25 dollars of it in the hotel restaurant or lose it. Kept losing the signal on the TV also.

The main desk did not answer my call after 10 mins wait. The room 1534 is double beds not queen size bed, I called and then the staff texted me and said they will ask someone and measure, but I don’t want to wait. The check in time was 3pm and check in at lobby waited for 15 mins to complete even though we booked it online. We didn’t want to wait someone to come to our room and measure due to time wasting, we need to head out right away rather than wasting time. We were expecting the staff just give us a different room for a faster service. Then the sink is semi clogged which I hated the most. There were only two towels for four people, then I need to request more towels. The next day no room service, after we got back to the hotel at 9 pm, we called for more hand soup bar, no one picked up the phone after 20mins waiting on the phone. We just give up, we could have go down to the lobby and asked manually but after a long day, our energy drained. We have paid nearly $600 for two nights including parking. Yuck!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We upgraded our room so we had a view of Lake Michigan for a small fee and it was worth the cost. Many businesses and tourist attractions were in walking distance or a short Lyft ride away. We would definitely stay here again.

shortly after we checked in, I got a text checking if everything is in our satisfaction. I use this text to communicate with the Hilton staff when we’re out and about and need to ask questions, like if our room has been cleaned, etc. It was super convenient and relief a lot of traveling anxiety. Great service. Clean. Friendly staff.

Overall, it's a great location and property. It only had one major problem. The moisture level in the rooms was unbearable. Towels would not dry and everything always felt wet. Also a little stinky. This was not only our room. We had a family reunion with six different groups staying.
