“I really enjoyed my stay. The location is convenient for the A303, but there was no traffic noise. The owner was very helpful giving onward travel directions. The room was cute and cosy, with everything needed for a stay. The bedding was very clean, and breakfast lovely. I really enjoyed my stay, and would use The Cottage again.”

“Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .”

“A very cool/reserved welcome. Check-in seems like an effort. Quickly settled and sat outside for a drink - went inside because the language was disgusting. The swearing inside was no better and neither was the misogynistic comments from the senior members. Good place to stay but let down by the clientele”

“A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again.”
