"Air conditioner was amazing"

"We decided to experience the Fredericksburg Oktoberfest a week or so prior and were very lucky to find this gem. Great updated farmhouse with ample space. We also liked the fact the master bedroom was on the first floor and had its own bathroom. A quirky staircase from a long time ago goes upstairs which probably was an attic space way back when. Loved the history of the house. 2 bedrooms upstairs were great for 3 young adults. Wifi and internet TV were also a nice modern touch.We enjoyed the fireplace in the backyard and morning coffee on the porch. Very serene and quaint environment with lots of wildlife spotted. The goats on the way to the property are fun to watch. They do not seem afraid of humans or cars. We enjoyed several local winery/restaurants and breweries also. Overall a great place. Highly recommend it."

"The house was fantastic. It was decorated perfectly with some of the coolest touches, especially the table/bar in the kitchen area. Everything was very clean and worked as expected. Outside was peaceful, scenic, well-kept and enjoyable. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub and porch as much as we would have liked due to 95* August temps but we loved it nonetheless! The kitchen comes stocked with a Keurig machine plus an assortment of K-Cups and creamers in the cabinet. There is also a traditional coffee pot in the pantry should you prefer that style. WiFi worked great. Living room furniture was comfortable and all the TVs were smart TV which made it nice to be able to login to our streaming services. The master bath is stocked with towels and plentiful supply of toiletries should you forget anything.We really enjoyed the house overall. If you are looking to stay outside of town to enjoy the peace and quiet, this is a prime spot. It’s about 15 min from town. We highly recommend visiting Burgs Corner just 2 min away for fresh produce, a wide variety of preserves, sauces, etc. and most importantly their FRESH “Peach Crisp” ice cream! Make sure you have it topped with fresh peach purée as well! Amazing!"

"We were in town to visit the WWII museum in Fredericksburg and see the town. Sadly we only had one day this trip. The stay was wonderful and everything was as advertised. Comfortable beds, everything was clean and very nicely taken care of. You can tell it was an older house by the design but the upgrades and work on the home are great. Keeps much of the old home charm while updating allnof the necessities. We were traveling with my in-laws you have never stayed in a short term rental and they loved it and were very impressed. If we ever get back to Fredericksburg we will certainty try booking here first. "

"Arriving and staying at Riverview Ranch was smooth and the entire place has a joyful and peaceful feel. It is a short drive to Fredericksburg's shops and restaurants and you pass lots of places you'll want to stop anyway while you're in the area. We loved having a place to stay away from the crowds. We will stay here again!"
