"The location is great and the rooms were fine for the most part. We were in town for a concert and booked 2 rooms for our group of 6. When we checked in at 4pm, only 1 room was ready and the other one wasn't ready until almost 6pm! Luckily we had the other room to get ready in or we'd have been late and very upset. Also, neither bathroom door would lock properly and the doors are opaque and don't block out any sound. If you're not super comfortable with everyone in your party, just be aware! Finally, the worst part was that after a late night, the room's alarm clock started blaring at 6am and kept going off at odd intervals. When we met up with our other party, they said their alarm also went off at 6am! We were talking about it in the lobby for breakfast later and 2 more rooms of people overheard and said the same happened to them. No way was that just a coincidence. That coupled with the fact they couldn't get rooms ready for checking time makes me wonder if they're trying to get people up and out the door. Definitely fishy, and extremely rude."

Athena at ladder 13 delivered superb assistance to us while we ate at the restaurant and we will surely be back to visit again!"

"Great option for solo travelers. This hotel is well located in the middle of downtown Columbia with plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel used to be a charming old office building with a breathtaking rooftop bar. The rooms are very small and cannot fit more than one person. If you are looking for spacious rooms go somewhere else. However, if you don't care about space just want a place to sleep at night, this is the place. Also the lobby is well decorated with a great bar. I would stay there again if I am traveling solo next time because the price is reasonable."
