“Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road……

“I last minute booked in Golden and I am so glad I found this place! It is so cute, the staff were amazing, and the views are absolutely gorgeous. This property is so comfortable and homey. We watched one of the soccer games in the lobby and they made us comfortable. They also have a big fireplace and it is so cozy!! They offered free drinks & snacks and were just overall very generous. The mountain views from our bedroom were spectacular. I can’t wait to stay here again!”

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“Won't stay here again. That's all I'm going to stay. I know other places in Golden are more expensive, especially in the summer but you'd end up regretting trying to save a few bucks by staying here. I'd rather pay more for a better experience than this one. I won't go into details but just take it from a fellow traveler. There are better places in Golden.”
