“The host was excellent. Any questions we had were addressed almost immediately. This property is older, and very quirky. But very comfortable and has so much space! We had 7 people (girls trip) and only 2 had to share a (king) bed! There was a lot of space for gathering and talking or playing games. It is easy walking distance to everything in Medicine Park. And the view of the sunset from the front patio was gorgeous.”

“Staff was friendly: property is clean and entertaining with little games scattered throughout the property with a star gazing option and a couple of fire pits. The room was clean with little extra things you might need or want. 10/10 recommend!”

“The property was a great stay for my business trip. I usually stay in Lawton or Duncan but I wanted to check out the area in medicine park. My husband and my two dogs were with me and it was an excellent stay. The place was perfect for two people. Four would be a bit cramped but it was perfect for our stay. The area was right off the main strip and was super easy to walk around. It has a microwave, Kruieg coffee maker, refrigerator and a smaller sink. It was nice having the extra amenities but……

“The outside steps , which are many, were covered in ice. I feel like they should have been salted or cleaned off before our arrival. The snow had stopped the early morning before we checked in. We arrived after dark and the climb was very dangerous. The views were awesome!We were aware of the steps when renting, but had no idea the ice storm was coming. ”

“My friend and I stayed 2 nights at the Lazy Buffalo for her birthday weekend. We had a great time! The cabins are cozy, clean, and had the basics for our short stay. The property is super cute and we really enjoyed the Star Gazing truck that had unobstructed views. The location is also great with a gas station, casino, and a cool dive bar across the street! Just a short drive to hiking trails, Mt. Scott and Medicine Park. Host is very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.……

“Newer house with spacious bedrooms and large gathering spaces, both inside and outside. Close to the Wichita Mountains park entrances and far enough outside of town to have great views of the night sky.”

“Everything was excellent except for one minor detail. The bed in room 3 needs tightening. Everytime we moved in or out the bed or rolled over during sleep it sounded like duck calls. The bed was very comfortable though. Thats the only issue we had everything else was amazing. ”
