The hotel itself was clean, well maintained, and had more modern, updated features than many other hotels we've stayed at. “Smelly hallways . My room wasn’t clean. They had to switch rooms. The entire 2nd floor smelled like old wet carpets I won’t stay there ever again. I didn’t even go upstairs to the room they switched me to. I just left and went back home with my kids. Horrible experience. But the staff I saw were nice. The lobby was clean.”

“The rooms were clean and smelled nice but the baseboards were dinged in places and one of the included water bottles were partially drank. Overall I would recommend this hotel and my criticisms are really just being nitpicky. The staff were helpful and friendly. It's also in a convenient location as far as distance to Fort Jackson and proximity to the interstate if you plan to stay for a BCT family day/graduation.
