"The place is awesome. I loved the view of the slopes! And the whole feel is a ski cabin. The living room area was great with ample comfy seats and seats for eating at table and at island. Loved the (gas) fireplace. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics - from oil and vinegar, to coffee filters, to aluminum foil. Note that the amazing proximity to the mountain means being 15 minutes from groceries and restaurants. The one big note is that there's a cool spiral staircase to an awesome loft...

"We rented this lovely house for my daughter's college graduation. It was the perfect base for the weekend. As others have noted, the home is even better in person. The owners have thought of every detail. We loved having coffee on the peaceful screened porch.The shower is especially awesome and the beds are comfortable.We all were a little sad to leave."

"To see the 2024 eclipse, celebrate a big birthday and relax and bond with our adult daughters, this was a good place. The owner is communicative and helpful, and we were a good fit as a family looking to have a pretty relaxed time, as opposed to a party. The big couches, kitchen table and deck table on the low deck overlooking the big, rolling lawn helped us relax upon arrival. "First time staying at North Cottage, and loved it! Spacious rooms, lovely decor, generous kitchen, and the most beautiful wide plank wood floors. Close to town, view of Skaneateles Lake. On the pristine Hobbit Hollow Farm property. We missed the big house - but this was delightful. Would definitely stay again. Appreciated the wine that was waiting for us. Olivia is a great host. We were very sorry when it was time to leave!"

The hosts are extremely accommodating and go above and beyond with small details to insure their guests have a wonderful experience.
