"It's a very $80/night hotel. Clean and safe, but not incredibly comfortable. The rooms were clean, but very dark and had a strange smell. The mattresses were clean, but very firm, and one felt like it had plastic on it. I eventually figured out the hot water (turns out you need to give it ~10 minutes to heat up), but the first day I had a cold and kind of miserable shower. On a budget, it's not a bad place, but you get what you pay for."

"Fireplace was warm. Parking in garage was good. We enjoyed the many games in the basement. Loved looking at and walking along Lake Michigan. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great weekend!"

I never got to meet her in person but everyday Niocole came and left a nice message for us all on the whiteboard so we know they were keeping watch but nothing was needed.
