“Very nice and spacious hotel with great staff, unfortunately a little bit out of the way from Dublin and the room didn't include a fridge which made it a bit difficult to store food for our baby. Apart from that it was a lovely stay.”

* The food at the restaurant was delicious. Wait staff were delightful. We were confused at check in about having to reserve (full/hot) breakfast the night before. You can still order it in the a.m. at a slightly higher rate. I am sure it is a way for the hotel to have adequate supplies.

“Property was in a good location. The bedroom decor was good - industrial style. Good size bathroom.
There was never anyone on reception except when we checked in. The only staff member that we saw was the cleaner. The pillows were very uncomfortable.
Carpet on the landing and stairs was threadbare.
Toilet roll holder was broken.”
“Staff were really helpful and friendly. Be aware that breakfast is not in a restaurant but is placed on your mini fridge the night before, so no cooked breakfast. We had yoghurt granola and pastries delivered at 9am. Also a small plate of meat and cheese. Milk and water supplied. We had the twin bedroom, rather dark, but cosy and beds were comfy. Bathroom was good. A couple more hooks would be handy! Plenty of gated parking. Overall good.”
“Quite disappointed with our stay at the Strand. Outlets didn’t work, shower would leak and cover the whole bathroom floor, bed and pillows were quite uncomfy. There is barely anybody ever at the front desk, the front door was locked on multiple occasions and we had to wait around for somebody to come open it. We understand it’s a heritage building and we’re looking forward to the quirks that came with that but for the price paid - we were not happy.”
“A lovely hotel! The staff were very welcoming and always had a smile ! Room was very nice with two large double beds. No shower curtain in the bathroom which was a bit odd ( and messy ) but hey that’s just a small thing.
Breakfast was incredible ! One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had.
Would love to go back and visit again”
“Comfortable room with all the basic necessities in place. Friendly owner and staff. Close to bus stop for buses that take you to city centre. While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! ”
“We had a short stay overnight in order to catch ferry to Holyhead so cannot comment on breakfast but location was perfect for us. Only 20 min walk to centre of Dublin. Given that combination of needs it was perfect”
“We are staying with our 4 kittens(persians) for 1 night, and we enjoyed a very good experience in the hotel. They are very helpful to drop off our luggages even its not timecready to check in. And they all loves cats, made my kittens feel so comfortable once landed. Their breakfast is wonderful, they all served by heart, we appreciate very much for our stay.”
